Moreschi shoes are traditionally comfortable: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size

Varsavia Buffalo is a men's five-eyelet Oxford in black buffalo leather. It boasts clean lines, a stitched cap toe, and a compact profile — elements of precision rather than flourish.

The black buffalo leather carries a pronounced, naturally irregular grain, giving the upper visual depth and a texture calfskin can't replicate — every hide is different, and that variation is part of the material's character.

Fully leather-lined for breathability and all-day comfort, the upper is finished with the classic cap-toe stitch that defines the Oxford silhouette, with a discreetly hot-stamped Moreschi logo. Blake construction keeps the shoe light and lets it flex and mould to the foot over time, while the leather sole trades some weather resistance for a slimmer, dressier profile than rubber.

Varsavia Buffalo suits tailored suits, wool trousers and formal business settings, where the leather sole sets it apart from an everyday Oxford. Pair it with the Bradford belt in black calfskin. For the same grain in a more versatile shape, the Moreschi collection includes the Budapest Buffalo derby; for daily wear in wet weather, Edimburgo and Strasburgo offer the same buffalo character with a rubber sole.

Varsavia takes its name from the Polish capital, rebuilt stone by stone after near-total destruction in the Second World War — a work of precision that restored the city's original design, detail by detail. A shoe that shares the same stubborn commitment to exactness.

Care

Buffalo leather is valued for its pronounced grain and natural durability. To preserve its authentic appearance and softness, clean the shoes regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a fine-bristled brush.

When needed, apply a small amount of high-quality neutral wax to nourish the leather and protect it from external agents. Spread the product gently without applying too much pressure to avoid altering the grain.

Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or humidity. Store in a dry place with wooden shoe trees to maintain shape and promote natural breathability.

For more thorough care, consult a skilled shoemaker.

Blake construction

The Blake construction is used for shoes with leather or rubber soles and ensures a secure bond between the upper, midsole, and outsole. After an initial phase of gluing and pressing, the sole is further reinforced with a single stitch made using a specialized Blake machine, which fastens the bottom of the shoe directly to the upper.

The result is a solid yet flexible shoe, ideal for refined everyday wear.
