Color: Black

Adige Saffiano is a vertical wallet from Moreschi's small leather goods line, made from calfskin with a Saffiano finish. This crosshatch texture creates an orderly surface that holds up to the daily friction of a pocket or wallet without losing definition.

The exterior stays minimal, marked only by the hot-stamped Moreschi "scarpini" logo. The interior does the real work: eight card slots split into two rows of four, four additional pockets (two per side), and a roomy note compartment lined in Moreschi's black "scarpini"-pattern fabric.

Closed, Adige Saffiano measures 9.5 x 12.5 cm (3.74" x 4.92"); open, 18 x 12.5 cm (7.09" x 4.92"). The model offers more organization than most vertical wallets, in a footprint that still stays compact.

It suits anyone carrying more cards than a standard slim wallet can handle: credit cards, loyalty cards, badges, transit passes. Black is the more practical everyday choice for work, given how often the wallet moves in and out of a pocket through the day. Dark blue makes more sense for someone who wants to keep it visually separate from other black items already in use, or who wears it more often with a casual wardrobe than a dark suit.

On travel days, Adige Saffiano pairs naturally with the Adda Saffiano passport holder, built for the same context and available in the same colors.

The name "Adige" comes from Italy's second-longest river after the Po, which rises in Alto Adige and gathers several tributaries along the way, the Isarco, Passirio, Noce and Avisio, into a single course.

Anyone who prefers a horizontal cut can look at Oglio Saffiano, which offers the same capacity in a different shape; anyone carrying fewer items will find the Arno Saffiano card holder a slimmer alternative.

Care

Moreschi leather accessories are crafted from surface-treated leathers, finished to provide greater resistance to scratches and everyday wear compared to untreated smooth leather. Nappa, used in the production of gloves, is a soft, untreated leather: more delicate to the touch, it requires the same care but with even lighter handling.

For routine maintenance:

1. Remove dust and surface residue by gently wiping with a clean, dry cotton cloth. For nappa, follow the grain of the leather with light strokes to avoid altering the surface.
2. For small fresh stains, dab — do not rub! — with a cloth lightly dampened with clean water. Allow to dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.

Do not use shoe cream, solvents, alcohol-based products or sprays not specifically formulated for these leathers: they can alter the surface finish or permanently stain the leather.

Store accessories in a dry place, away from heat and direct light, preferably in the original dust bag.

For more thorough treatment — persistent stain removal, rehydration or colour restoration — consult a specialist in the care of fine leather goods.
