Color: Black

Arno Saffiano is a leather card holder with a compact, no-frills cut. It's made from calfskin with a finish that presses a fine crosshatch into the leather, which helps hide everyday marks and wear.

The design is deliberately clean, set off only by the hot-stamped Moreschi "scarpini" logo in one corner. Inside, the slim body holds six card slots, three on each side, with a note compartment at the center lined in Moreschi's black "scarpini"-pattern fabric.

It measures 10.5 x 8.5 cm (4.13" x 3.35"): slim enough to sit in a jacket or trouser pocket without adding bulk, a leaner alternative to a traditional wallet for anyone carrying only the essentials, cards, a few bills, little else.

Of the colors on offer, black is the most versatile for formal everyday use. Dark brown pairs more easily with shoes and belts in earth tones, while dark blue sits somewhere in between for anyone who wants to move away from black without going fully casual.

Anyone who also needs to carry a passport can pair it with Adda Saffiano, which shares the same crosshatch finish. For more room, Moreschi's small leather goods line offers roomier wallets, Adige Saffiano among them.

The name "Arno" comes from the river in Tuscany that runs through Florence and Pisa, a fittingly essential reference for a card holder built around a minimal silhouette.

Care

Moreschi leather accessories are crafted from surface-treated leathers, finished to provide greater resistance to scratches and everyday wear compared to untreated smooth leather. Nappa, used in the production of gloves, is a soft, untreated leather: more delicate to the touch, it requires the same care but with even lighter handling.

For routine maintenance:

1. Remove dust and surface residue by gently wiping with a clean, dry cotton cloth. For nappa, follow the grain of the leather with light strokes to avoid altering the surface.
2. For small fresh stains, dab — do not rub! — with a cloth lightly dampened with clean water. Allow to dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.

Do not use shoe cream, solvents, alcohol-based products or sprays not specifically formulated for these leathers: they can alter the surface finish or permanently stain the leather.

Store accessories in a dry place, away from heat and direct light, preferably in the original dust bag.

For more thorough treatment — persistent stain removal, rehydration or colour restoration — consult a specialist in the care of fine leather goods.
