Moreschi shoes are traditionally comfortable: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size

Martinica represents the contemporary evolution of the Tenerife model, reinterpreted with a lighter, more dynamic character. Crafted in soft perforated nappa leather and available in black and navy, this men’s driver balances relaxed elegance with Summer functionality.

The signature silver-tone metal logo, inherited from Tenerife, signs the model with a distinctive yet understated detail. The tubular construction ensures natural flexibility and a glove-like fit, following the movement of the foot with continuity and comfort. The perforated nappa enhances breathability and lightness, while the rubber sole provides grip and protection from moisture during everyday wear. These features make Martinica ideal for the Spring and Summer seasons.

Compared to the Caracas model – offered in perforated nubuck with a more understated, casual attitude – Martinica expresses a more refined and luminous identity, thanks to the softness and finesse of nappa leather. Both share the driver construction and signature metal logo, yet interpret leisure time with different nuances.

Perfect with lightweight chinos, selected denim or linen trousers, Martinica complements relaxed yet polished looks with ease, becoming a versatile ally for weekends, travel and informal days in the city.

The name Martinica evokes bright atmospheres and unhurried rhythms, suggesting an idea of relaxed elegance and natural movement. Like the island that inspires it, this driver interprets leisure time with balance, comfort and character.

Care

Nappa leather is prized for its silky touch and refined softness. To maintain its delicate finish and uniform appearance, clean the shoes with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding brushes or abrasive products.

Use a neutral wax specifically formulated for smooth, soft leathers, applied in small amounts with light pressure to nourish the leather without altering its silky surface.

Avoid exposure to intense light or heat. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place with wooden shoe trees to retain their structure.

For deeper maintenance, consult a professional shoemaker, ideally one experienced in delicate leathers.

Tubular construction

A traditional method for crafting loafers, tubular construction is performed entirely by hand. The upper is wrapped beneath the sole to create a tubular leather structure that gives the shoe its signature softness and flexibility. The artisan then stitches the edges using a special awl and waxed thread, completing a refined and comfortable build.
