Moreschi shoes are traditionally comfortable: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size

Caracas is a men’s driver loafer that interprets the relaxed spirit of the Heritage collection with restraint and lightness. Crafted from perforated nubuck and available in black, dark brown and navy, this model stands out for its velvety, breathable texture, combining Summer comfort with measured style.

A more understated and casual evolution of the Martinica in perforated nappa leather, Caracas retains the iconic silver-tone metal logo that defines its identity with subtle distinction. The tubular construction ensures flexibility and a naturally soft fit that follows the movement of the foot.

The rubber driver sole provides reliable grip and protection from moisture, offering sensitivity and stability in motion. An ideal choice for driving, leisure time and dynamic days in the city.

Versatile and contemporary, Caracas pairs effortlessly with lightweight chinos, tailored denim or linen trousers, completing casual and smart-casual looks with balance and character.

The name evokes the vibrant energy of the Venezuelan capital: a dynamic city where rhythm and ease coexist with effortless style. Much like this driver loafer, designed to accompany everyday life with confidence and discretion.

Care

Nubuck is a fine leather distinguished by its lightly buffed surface and soft, matte appearance. Due to its delicate nature, it requires consistent care to preserve its uniform texture and refined character over time.

For routine cleaning, remove dust and surface dirt using a brush specifically designed for nubuck, preferably with soft bristles or light brass bristles. Brush gently and evenly to avoid altering the nap of the leather. In the presence of light stains, a nubuck eraser or a dedicated nubuck cleaner may be used, applying the product sparingly and carefully following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Avoid using traditional creams, waxes, or polishes, as these products can darken the leather and permanently alter its velvety finish. Instead, it is advisable to apply a neutral waterproofing spray specifically formulated for nubuck on a regular basis, helping protect the surface from moisture and external agents.

Store the shoes in a dry environment, away from direct heat sources and strong light exposure. The use of natural wooden shoe trees is recommended to help absorb moisture and maintain the shoe’s original shape.

For more thorough maintenance or in the case of persistent stains, it is always advisable to consult a professional specialist.

Tubular construction

A traditional method for crafting loafers, tubular construction is performed entirely by hand. The upper is wrapped beneath the sole to create a tubular leather structure that gives the shoe its signature softness and flexibility. The artisan then stitches the edges using a special awl and waxed thread, completing a refined and comfortable build.
