ETNA CROCO
Etna Croco is a men's laptop bag in black Porosus crocodile, part of the Moreschi Exclusive collection. It keeps the proportions of Etna Grain, Moreschi's pebbled-calfskin business bag, and carries them over into an exotic leather worked entirely by hand in Milan.
The crocodile is treated with wool felt until the surface turns matte, a step away from the high-gloss finish most crocodile leather goods are known for. The natural geometry of the scales comes through clearly and changes from hide to hide, so no two Etna Croco bags share the same pattern.
The handles are wrapped in the same crocodile as the body, so the hand meets the same leather the eye does. Inside, a stain-resistant Moreschi-branded lining makes it easy to keep clean, while the zip pulls and the inner plate carry the brand's signature. On the outside, the metal "scarpini" emblem makes the bag recognizable at a glance. At 40 x 27 x 10.5 cm (15.75" x 10.63" x 4.13"), Etna Croco takes a laptop and a full workday's documents.
Matte black crocodile works with a midnight-blue or charcoal suit and a dark overcoat, where the texture of the scales becomes the only raised element in the outfit. On business trips, Tirano Croco, the organizer from the same collection, keeps cards, passport and boarding passes in separate compartments. The Nilus Croco belt carries the same leather onto the suit itself.
The name Etna refers to the volcano that towers over Catania. After the 1693 earthquake, the city was rebuilt in Etna's dark lava stone, which still gives Catania's Baroque architecture its color today. Black and matte, like this bag.
For everyday use, Etna Grain offers the same model in pebbled calfskin, with a removable shoulder strap and a magnetic front pocket.
