Moreschi shoes are traditionally comfortable: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size

Palestro is an evolution of the iconic Baku model, reinterpreted with refined sophistication within Moreschi’s ongoing Heritage collection. Crafted from a combination of premium materials, the Ostrich version pairs a soft black deerskin upper with a genuine ostrich vamp, creating an elegant and sophisticated interplay of textures—ideal for the man who seeks distinction through detail.

The calfskin lining ensures a soft, breathable, and enveloping fit, while the full rubber sole guarantees grip, comfort, and practicality, even during dynamic days or under less favorable weather conditions. The Blake construction—an emblem of Italian shoemaking excellence—provides flexibility and durability while preserving the model’s lightness and refinement over time.

Versatile and expressive, Palestro Ostrich is designed to effortlessly complement both high-end casual attire and smart business looks, offering an elegance with a cosmopolitan spirit deeply rooted in Italian craftsmanship.

The Palestro range is completed by three further interpretations:

  • Palestro Tejus, in calfskin with a Tejus vamp, for a more sartorial elegance, available in dark blue and dark brown;
  • Palestro Deer, in blue or dark brown deerskin, perfect for those who appreciate a naturally elegant and understated style;
  • Palestro Suede, crafted from black suede calfskin, offering a more relaxed yet equally sophisticated aesthetic.

The name Palestro pays homage to one of Milan’s most elegant streets, renowned for its historic palaces, aristocratic gardens, and refined discretion—a perfect source of inspiration for a shoe that embodies discreet, authentic luxury, created for the contemporary man.

Cura

Naturally soft and elastic, deer requires regular, delicate care to maintain its unique characteristics. Gently clean the shoes with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and surface residue.

To nourish the leather without affecting the grain, occasionally apply a small amount of high-quality neutral wax, distributing it gently and evenly. Avoid harsh or overly rich products that could weigh down the material.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light, using wooden shoe trees to maintain shape.

For more advanced treatments, consult an expert cobbler.

Blake construction

The Blake construction is used for shoes with leather or rubber soles and ensures a secure bond between the upper, midsole, and outsole. After an initial phase of gluing and pressing, the sole is further reinforced with a single stitch made using a specialized Blake machine, which fastens the bottom of the shoe directly to the upper.

The result is a solid yet flexible shoe, ideal for refined everyday wear.
