MONVISO GRAIN
Monviso Grain is a men's toiletry bag in pebbled calfskin, full and plush to the touch, available in black. The shape follows a classic men's toiletry kit, but its generous proportions and clean construction stretch its use well beyond the suitcase.
The case splits into two independent compartments, each closed with a metal zip and a custom Moreschi pull, so contents stay separated without any reorganizing every time the bag is opened. One of the two sections is further organized with a double leather inner pocket, useful for keeping smaller or more valuable items, a watch or a pair of earbuds, apart from everything else: the reassurance of finding them in the same place every time, even after digging through the other compartment. The interior is fully lined in Moreschi's "scarpini"-pattern fabric, in the same black tone as the exterior.
A side handle in pebbled calfskin lets you carry Monviso Grain on its own, not only packed inside a suitcase: a detail that makes it useful as a standalone piece whenever you're carrying just a few things and want to keep them apart from everything else. The same proportions that suit it for travel work equally well for a business clutch or a city bag, without needing a different bag for every part of the day. Monviso Grain measures 27 x 14 x 13 cm (10.63" x 5.51" x 5.12"): compact enough to hold in one hand, roomy enough for a weekend's worth of essentials.
A small silver-tone Moreschi "scarpini" logo signs the front with restraint, while a brass Moreschi Made in Italy plate on the inside confirms where it was made.
The name Monviso belongs to the highest peak of the Cottian Alps, in Piedmont: visible from a great distance thanks to its pyramid shape, it has long served as a landmark for anyone crossing that part of the country, so much that its Latin name, Mons Vesulus, literally means visible mountain. The Po, Italy's longest river, also rises at its base: a starting point before every journey.
