Kansas Nylon is a men's sneaker in technical nylon and suede calfskin, available within the Moreschi F/W 2026 collection in blue, brown and white.

The upper alternates technical nylon, tonal suede calfskin and a white nappa detail at the heel, present across every variant. The white technical nylon tongue and the "scarpine" motif, embroidered in white thread, are the two elements that read most immediately; the hot-stamped Moreschi logo on the heel completes the signature.

The construction follows the traditional montata method, the technique that made the Vigevano footwear district famous: upper and sole are joined through a process that favours a natural fit over rigidity. Calfskin lining, a padded upper and a removable footbed work together for everyday comfort; the rubber-tread sole finishes the design with lightness.

Denim, technical pieces and casual knitwear are the most natural pairings for this sneaker. Those after material continuity can also look to Le Havre Suede, a suede calfskin belt that picks up the same finish as the shoe's inserts.

Kansas City takes its name from the Kansas River, itself named for the Kansa, or Kaw, people, whose name in Siouan means "people of the south wind" — a reference to the role wind played in their war ceremonies. An origin tied to movement and direction, themes not far from this sneaker's purpose: built to keep pace with everyday movement, just as lightly.

Nylon shoes often feature inserts or trim in smooth calfskin and suede: the nylon is the primary structural material, while leather and suede appear in specific zones — reinforcements, tongue, heel details. This combination calls for distinct protocols for each surface: nylon does not tolerate waxes or solvents; calfskin responds well to cream and polishing; suede requires dedicated sprays and accepts neither wax nor traditional shoe cream.

For regular care:
1. Identify the nylon, calfskin and suede areas before starting, to apply the correct products without contaminating one surface with treatments intended for another.
2. Clean the nylon sections — the predominant part of the upper — with a soft, lightly dampened cloth or a small amount of neutral detergent diluted in water. Remove the residue with clean water and allow to dry at room temperature, never with direct heat sources.
3. Clean the calfskin inserts with the Moreschi Wood Brush with horsehair bristles or a soft cloth, then apply the Moreschi Leather Polishing Wax in the appropriate colour using circular strokes, keeping the product strictly within the leather areas.
4. On the suede sections, use the Moreschi Wood Brush with horsehair bristles with gentle strokes in the direction of the nap to remove dust and surface dirt. Apply the Moreschi Suede Spray to refresh colour and protect the material from moisture.
5. Never apply leather shoe cream to nylon or suede areas: on nylon it damages the finish and can leave marks; on suede it permanently alters the velvety texture.
6. Do not use the suede spray on smooth calfskin sections: it is not formulated for closed-surface leathers.
7. Buff only the calfskin zones with a clean cloth after the cream has absorbed; do not use the same cloth on the other surfaces.
8. Store with the Moreschi Wood Shoe Trees inserted to maintain the internal shape and allow all materials to breathe.
