Cervino Grain is a men's messenger crossbody bag made from pebbled calfskin. The tumbling process behind this finish keeps the leather soft and helps it hide everyday scuffs and marks better than a smooth hide would.

  • The front of this Moreschi leather bag carries a discreet signature: the "scarpini" logo in silver-tone metal.
  • The main opening, closed with a metal zip along the top, leads into a compartment lined in Moreschi's black "scarpini"-pattern fabric, with two interior pockets, one of them zippered for anything you'd rather keep secure.
  • Two outer pockets, one on the front and one on the back, stay within easy reach for a phone, passport, cards or anything else you tend to need throughout the day.
  • Inside, a brass Moreschi Made in Italy plate marks where the bag was made.
  • The strap is removable and adjustable up to 130 cm (51.18"), attached with metal clasps and finished with a pebbled-calfskin shoulder pad for longer stretches of wear: wear it over the shoulder or across the body, depending on the moment.

At 19.5 x 25 x 5 cm (7.68" x 9.84" x 1.97"), the bag stays compact but still has room for a wallet, keys, a couple of documents and little else, without becoming bulky on public transport or a plane.

Care

Moreschi leather accessories are crafted from surface-treated leathers, finished to provide greater resistance to scratches and everyday wear compared to untreated smooth leather. Nappa, used in the production of gloves, is a soft, untreated leather: more delicate to the touch, it requires the same care but with even lighter handling.

For routine maintenance:

1. Remove dust and surface residue by gently wiping with a clean, dry cotton cloth. For nappa, follow the grain of the leather with light strokes to avoid altering the surface.
2. For small fresh stains, dab — do not rub! — with a cloth lightly dampened with clean water. Allow to dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.

Do not use shoe cream, solvents, alcohol-based products or sprays not specifically formulated for these leathers: they can alter the surface finish or permanently stain the leather.

Store accessories in a dry place, away from heat and direct light, preferably in the original dust bag.
