Moreschi shoes are traditionally comfortable: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size

Cenacolo Deer is a men's deerskin loafer with fine grain, available online only in the colors black and dark brown.

The loafer carries the iconic Moreschi signature horsebit in silver — a detail that identifies the model instantly.

Deerskin ranks among the softest leathers in Moreschi's production: the natural grain gives the upper structural flexibility and a close, enveloping fit from the first wear. The full leather lining breathes throughout the day. The memory insole shapes to the foot over time. The leather sole, Blake-stitched, delivers lightweight flexibility and natural grip. The heel is finished with blue grosgrain, a recurring detail across the Legacy collection.

Cenacolo Deer is made for casual and business casual looks: it pairs well with flannel or turn-up chino trousers, unstructured blazers and open-collar shirts. For a more formal register, explore the Oxford and Derby styles in the Moreschi catalogue.

The name Cenacolo evokes Milan's great Renaissance refectories: an elegance built on proportion, not excess.

Care

Naturally soft and elastic, deer requires regular, delicate care to maintain its unique characteristics. Gently clean the shoes with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and surface residue.

To nourish the leather without affecting the grain, occasionally apply a small amount of high-quality neutral wax, distributing it gently and evenly. Avoid harsh or overly rich products that could weigh down the material.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light, using wooden shoe trees to maintain shape.

For more advanced treatments, consult an expert cobbler.

Blake construction

The Blake construction is used for shoes with leather or rubber soles and ensures a secure bond between the upper, midsole, and outsole. After an initial phase of gluing and pressing, the sole is further reinforced with a single stitch made using a specialized Blake machine, which fastens the bottom of the shoe directly to the upper.

The result is a solid yet flexible shoe, ideal for refined everyday wear.
