Moreschi shoes are traditionally comfortable: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size

Cellini Peccary is a men's loafer in brushed calfskin and peccary. It's available online-only in the colors black and navy blue.

Peccary is one of the rarest leathers in Moreschi's production: its naturally irregular grain and exceptional softness require specific craftsmanship that few artisans can apply. In this model from the Legacy Collection, peccary appears on the saddle strap, set against the high-gloss surface of the brushed calfskin — a pairing that plays on opposing textures without forcing the register.

The metal logo application on the tongue completes the upper. The leather lining and rubber sole, Blake-stitched, deliver comfort and versatility for daily wear. For a matching accessory in the same leather, the Lione Peccary belt is a fitting answer.

Cellini Peccary is featured in the Moreschi Wedding Footwear Collection and it also pairs well with flannel suits, gabardine trousers and poplin shirts.

Named after the Florentine goldsmith who made the rarity of his material the foundation of his craft, Cellini embodies the same principle, different form.

Care

Combining elegance and softness, brushed calf and peccary leather require distinct care.

Clean brushed calf with a slightly damp soft cloth and finish with a small amount of neutral wax, gently polishing the surface. For peccary leather, use a soft-bristled brush and, if needed, apply a specific neutral balm for delicate leathers—always avoiding excess product.

Store the shoes in a dry place, away from direct light and heat sources. Wooden shoe trees are recommended to maintain structure and shape.

Blake construction

The Blake construction is used for shoes with leather or rubber soles and ensures a secure bond between the upper, midsole, and outsole. After an initial phase of gluing and pressing, the sole is further reinforced with a single stitch made using a specialized Blake machine, which fastens the bottom of the shoe directly to the upper.

The result is a solid yet flexible shoe, ideal for refined everyday wear.
