BONDONE GRAIN
Bondone Grain is a men's crossbody bag in pebbled calfskin, soft to the touch, available in black and dark blue. Compared to a traditional bum bag, the volume runs generous and the attitude reads more contemporary, with the same construction standards that define Moreschi's leather goods.
A front metal zip with a custom Moreschi pull follows the bag's upper profile and opens the main compartment across its full width. Inside, Moreschi's "scarpini"-pattern fabric lines every surface, and a dedicated pocket holds smaller items, from a charger to a set of keys. The front stays plain, save for a small silver-tone Moreschi "scarpini" logo set into the lower left corner.
A second zip pocket on the back opens a separate compartment, useful for keeping a wallet, passport or other documents away from the one you reach into more often during the day: one less thing to worry about when you're digging for something else and running short on time. The adjustable strap in Moreschi's branded webbing takes seconds to fit, and the quick-release metal buckle, engraved with the Moreschi logo, makes opening and closing just as fast. At 40 x 18 x 6 cm (15.75" x 7.09" x 2.36"), Bondone Grain wears crossbody, on the back or, in a more traditional take, at the waist, depending on the occasion and how much you're carrying.
Of the two colors on offer, black is the more adaptable choice for anyone wearing it for work or on frequent trips, since it fits into a men's wardrobe without a second thought. Dark blue reads slightly more distinctive, suited to anyone who wants to tell this bag apart from similar pieces, or who would simply rather not default to black. Bondone works as well for a weekend away as for an airport transfer, where free hands matter as much as how the bag looks.
The name Bondone comes from the mountain that rises above Trento, just 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the city center: one of the few Alpine peaks reachable from a regional capital in half an hour by car, where the mountain stays within easy reach of everyday life. A short distance between city and freedom, which the bag interprets its own way.
