Bellaria Calf Unlined is Moreschi's take on the classic summer loafer, built light and refined from end to end. Made from soft white calfskin with a silky feel, this piece from the Legacy Collection is fully unlined. The construction lets the leather's natural softness come through, keeping Bellaria cool, flexible and comfortable through the warmer months.

The upper follows the classic codes of the penny loafer, with a hand-stitched apron and strap. What sets the model apart is the iconic Moreschi horsebit in a silver finish, set over a grosgrain band in Moreschi's signature tricolour stripe, a detail that adds a quiet touch of colour against the white leather.

The build is finished with traditional Blake construction, chosen for flexibility and a naturally comfortable fit. Just as much care goes into the 4mm leather sole, hand-buffed and hand-dyed in Moreschi's signature blue, a shade echoed on the edge of the insole for a considered detail that ties the whole shoe together.

Between the white calfskin, the unlined build and the overall lightness, Bellaria Calf Unlined pairs the loafer's easy character with something a little more polished. Wear it with light chinos or linen trousers in pale, natural tones, for the relaxed dinners and evenings out that belong to summer.

The name comes from a corner of Milan: the area around Cascina Bellaria, near San Siro, where an old Lombard farmhouse still sits at the centre of neighbourhood life today. A low-key reference, well suited to a loafer built for summer's more informal moments.

Care

Calf is a refined and durable leather that retains its luster and elegance when properly maintained. Clean the shoes regularly with a soft cloth to remove dust and dirt.

Apply a high-quality neutral wax to nourish the leather and enhance its shine, using circular, even motions. After a few minutes, polish with a clean cloth for a flawless finish. For a deeper tone, a lightly pigmented wax in the same color as the leather may be used.

Store in a dry, ventilated space, away from direct light. Use wooden shoe trees to help preserve the shape.

Blake construction

The Blake construction is used for shoes with leather or rubber soles and ensures a secure bond between the upper, midsole, and outsole. After an initial phase of gluing and pressing, the sole is further reinforced with a single stitch made using a specialized Blake machine, which fastens the bottom of the shoe directly to the upper.

The result is a solid yet flexible shoe, ideal for refined everyday wear.
